(Athwariq) 86 : 17
فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا

So, allow respite to the disbelievers for a while.

For the disbelievers who do not approve Allah as “Impartial,” this worldly life is Paradise. Since they serve Satan by hiding and rejecting Adhikr—the Balance and the Trust to keep the universe in equilibrium—all their deeds are futile, and their return will be to the Hellfire, the house of the worthless, as explained in verses 14: 28–30. Therefore, the Messenger and the believers are commanded to foresee the end of these disbelievers in this world as well as in the Hereafter, and to ignore these Fujjar, who are mentioned as filth in verses 9: 28 and 95, considering that the Impartial Lord is granting them enjoyment in this worldly life for a short while. Only then do the believers approve Allah as Impartial. See explanation 9: 53–55; 39: 7–8; and 43: 33–35.
